Wedding Chandos House London
Jill & Pete Wedding
Chandos House London is a beautiful Georgian Townhouse that was built by Britain’s most prominent architect, Robert Adam between 1769 – 1771. Located in a quiet haven to the north of Oxford Street, between Mayfair and Marylebone it’s so unassuming you wouldn’t even notice it’s there. But step inside and it’s a world different world with a magnificent central staircase that set the scene for this Christmassy wedding perfectly. I’d done an engagement shoot with Jill and Pete in the October and got to know them well so I was looking forward to seeing them tie the knot. Jill looked stunning in her dress which had a fabulous train/veil attached to the dress which I’ve never seen before and looked amazing in the photos. Pete was rocking the smart casual look with a dapper suit and converse trainers. And continuing the Christmas fun theme the ushers were donned in festive jumpers bringing a smile to the guests faces as they arrived. The ceremony was held in one of the decorative rooms on the first floor which provided an intimate setting for family and friends to see them say their “i do’s”. After the ceremony we made it outside for a few photos before the rain came then it was back into the cosy winter wonderland to enjoy the celebrations. The tables were decorated with Christmas crackers and it was great to see everyone get in the mood like a family Christmas dinner complete with paper crowns. And the rest of the day flowed from there with fun and laughter as the fairy lights twinkled and champagne glasses clinked. I loved Jill and Pete’s Christmassy London wedding, it was in fab London venue with a fab happy couple! Massive congratulations to Jill and Pete xx
