Dorney Court Wedding
Katie & Matthew
So I absolutely loved this Dorney Court wedding, it was a fairytale winter wonderland full of sparkle and glitz. Katie got ready at her family home and it felt lovely and familiar to me as I had been there photographing her sister’s wedding earlier in the year. Katie’s dress was AMAZING and she looked absolutely stunning along with her beautiful bridesmaids who were like gorgeous girly snowflakes. Dorney Court is a Tudor Manor House located in a small village near Windsor with it’s own church and renovated Coach House Barn. The ceremony was held at The church of St. James the Less which is part of the estate next located next to the main house. It’s a tiny but awesome church dating back to the Norman Conquest and it just about managed to squeeze all the wedding guests in. The groom Matthew waited nervously for his bride, but the nerves were soon forgotten when he saw Katie walking on her father’s arm down the aisle. The winter’s day was slightly eerie with thick fog but it added a certain quality that I loved and makes the photos outside look like something out of an epic movie! Back inside and the Coach House Barn was a stark contrast with all the glitz of an awards ceremony ready for the honoured guests. The ceremony was emotional, the speeches hilarious, the setting stunning and the couple gorgeous, what more could you want for this super Dorney Court Wedding. And the party started with a bang when the father of the bride took to the stage to bust out Mustang Sally and it was a total crowd pleaser, what a dude!! A wonderful winter wonderland wedding, massive congratulations Katie & Matthew xx
