St Pancras Renaissance London
The St Pancras Renaissance London is an architectural masterpiece designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott, and described by many as the most romantic building in London. And I think this must be true as it was here that Rich proposed to Chris and therefore could be the only choice for their wedding venue. The hotel has been restored to it’s full Victorian grandeur and it really is stunning both externally and internally, especially the amazing staircase!! The ceremony wasn’t till 3pm so rather than having any ‘getting ready’ shots we met before the proceedings to do their couple photos in and around the hotel. It was actually really nice to do these photos early in the day as we weren’t constrained by time and it meant that the happy couple could concentrate on enjoying themselves for the rest of the day. Before the ceremony there was an initial reception in the Ladies Smoking room serving tea, coffee and sweet canapés, which looked delicious. After the ceremony it was down to the Hansome terrace to soak up the sun and enjoys some drinks. The Groom’s and their guests were all in good spirits, there was a real summer party vibe to the terrace. The hotel continued to impress as the wedding breakfast was served in the Hansome Hall which is a very grand and sophisticated room. The speeches were in between courses, the first from the Groom’s followed by two hilarious speeches from the couples close friends, aided with props and visuals for full effect! As the evening rolled round the band got the party started and the dancing was in full swing. Chris & Rich are both really lovely people and their family and friends were brilliant, I absolutely loved photographing their wedding!! Add to that the marvellous St Pancras Renaissance and I really did have a ball. Massive congratulations to Chris & Rich, thank you for having me along and looking after me so well xx
