I hadn’t worked at Knowlton Court before but the moment I drove up to the grand house I knew I was going to love it. This kind of venue offers so much for a wedding and from a photographic point of view it’s fantastic. The house is a magnificent 16th century family home with bags of charm and character, add to that a quaint parish church set in the grounds and this is a really special venue. Stephanie looked beautiful in her dress which was a creamy tone with gold threads which matched perfectly with her fabulous gold accessories. Stephanie & Kevin got to enjoy the best of both worlds by having their civil ceremony in The Great Hall followed by a blessing at St Clement’s Church. Reception drinks were held inside the house where friends and family congratulated the newly-weds. Outside it was blowing a gale but everyone braved it for the photographs and we were able to get lots of lovely portraits of the the B&G as they kept each other warm. The Great Hall was turned around for the wedding breakfast with fabulous centrepieces and gorgeous flowers that really complimented the room. It was straight into the speeches which were all funny, heartfelt and I think a relief to get through for the speakers. I was very kindly sat at a table with the guests for the food and I was made to feel very welcomed and the banter was certainly entertaining!! As the night drew in the grand old house lit up with the lights and sounds from the band and the party was in full swing. Congratulations to Stephanie & Kevin! A truly beautiful wedding, thank you for making me a part of it xxx
