Tipi field Wedding
Jen and Matt’s Tipi field wedding was an absolute corker. They got married at the church of St Mary the Virgin in the idilic Surrey village of Holmbury St Mary. Their reception followed at the Holmbury St Mary Cricket Club where they pitched a huge tipi tent right in the middle of the cricket pitch. It was a fantastic location hidden away up a steep track road, secluded from everything. It was an early May day but it felt like mid summer with glorious sun shine all day long.
Jen and Matt were both very nervous about the photography part of their wedding. When I met up with them before their big day they both winced at the thought of having their photo taken and wanted to keep the portrait shots to a minimum. I knew it was important for me to make them feel as comfortable as possible and get the relaxed natural photos they wanted. I reassured them it would feel very different on the day and for the most part they wouldn’t even notice me there. And they surprised themselves when they saw the photos and were very happy with the result.
Jen and Matt were both very laid back and the day was as relaxed as they were. It was a fantastic tipi field wedding in a superb location with a fab couple. Congratulations Jen & Matt x
